My Last Issue of Black Voice/Carta Latina

While in college, I worked on a student run publication that was geared towards African-American and Latino students at Rutgers. Black Voice/Carta Latina (BV/CL) started out as a newsletter in 1969 (as Black Voice originally) and over the years transformed into a newspaper. I started out in  late 2007 as just a contributor and in 2008 I became the managing editor. In the next school year until now I have been an editor-in-chief and then a co-editor. I have supervised finances of the paper, assisted in the layout of the paper, managed content of the paper and the business of the paper. My experiences have been good and bad but well worth the knowledge that I obtained through it.

Below is a PDF of the last issue that was created in InDesign with the help of PrintPod, Inc. I have two articles in the issue: Crime Alert and America vs.Muslim.
